It's the middle of August and it is hot, hot, hot in here. Feels like it's the hottest summer ever (even though it actually felt exactly the same last year and the year before that).
My summer holiday was put off till October so right now I can mostly be found melting away in my office.
Everything seems to work much slower during August and occasionally, between one meeting to the next, I find myself staring at my computer and dreaming about some sort of an exotic getaway.

So I've decided to share my ultimate holiday destination list with you, including five dreamier that dreamy vacation spots. Oh, and of course I had to pick and choose the perfect items for each one.
טיסה קצרצרה + מעבורת הופכת את יוון ליעד מועדף אצלי. אני ממש יכולה לשמוע את הצעדים שלי בין סמטאות הבתים הלבנים עם הדלתות הכחולות בדרך לחוף ים שקט ולבן.
לחופשה כזאת אני חייבת תיק קש, בגד ים כחול שישתלב נפלא עם כל הכחול מסביב, משקפי שמש אופנתיות ותכשיטים ששואבים את ההשראה שלהם הישר מהמעמקים.
Just a short flight + ferry ride away makes Greece one of my all-time favorite destinations ever. I can actually hear the sound of my footsteps echoing through the narrow streets paved with white and blue houses, on my way to a quiet, sandy beach.
This kind of vacation has to include a straw bag, a blue bathing suit that will go great with the blue surroundings, fashion-forward sunglasses and jewelry inspired by the depths of the ocean.

דמיינו לכן את דרך הקיאנטי, רצופה ביקבים משפחתיים. אין ספק שבשביל חופש מהסוג הזה חייבים להצטייד בסלסלת פקניק מלאה בתוצרת מקומית ובבקבוק יין שנקנה באחד מהיקבים בדרך. לנסיעה רומנטית שכזאת הייתי בוחרת בלוק בוהמייני שכולל חצאית או שמלת מקסי, כובע אופנתי, נעליים שטוחות, עגילי פרנזים ושרשרת שמורכבת מכמה שכבות.

Just imagine the Chianti road, paved with family-run vineyards. No doubt this type of holiday must entail a picnic basket packed full of local produce and a fine bottle of wine bought on the way. As far as the outfit goes, I would pick a bohemian-inspired look to match the romantic getaway, including a skirt or a maxi dress, a fashionable hat, flats, fringe earrings and a multi-strand necklace.

אני חובבת חופשות אורבניות ואין מקום טוב מפריז לכמה ימים מרוכזים של אמנות, שופינג, אוכל מעולה ושיטוט ברחובות. כדי להרגיש מקומית אבחר באודם אדום אדום, בתיק ובמשקפי שמש שחורים שחורים, בתכשיטים מינימליסטיים ובנעלי פלטפורמה עדינות לצעידה שיקית ברחבי העיר.
No matter how many times I visit Paris, I never grow tired of it.
I'm a big fan of urban breaks and as far as I'm concerned there is no better place to soak up art and culture, do some shopping, eat fantastic food and just roam the streets than Paris. To feel like a local I'd go for red lips, all black sunglasses and bag, minimalist jewelry and low wedge sandals that will allow me to walk around and still stay chic.

בשלהי אוגוסט חופשה ביעד קר נראית אטרקטיבית מתמיד. הגעגוע לקור שמכה בפנים, לטפטוף הגשם ולהתכרבלות בתוך מעיל מפנק גורמים לי להפליג הרחק לנורווגיה. אקח איתי במזוודה סוודר צמרירי וענק, כובע עם פונפון, שרשרת ארקטית ועגילים בעיצוב סקנדינבי וכשאגיע אתפנק בשוקו חם מלא במרשמלו. מה שטוב בחופשות דמיוניות זה שגם הקלוריות הן כאלה...
The hotter than hot August weather makes chilly destinations more attractive than ever. Missing the feeling of cold wind against my face, the sound of rain drops or wrapping myself up in a snugly coat makes me want to sail far, far away to Norway. I would definitely have to take a wooly large knit, a pom pom hat, one Arctic necklace and Scandinavian inspired earrings. When I finally reach my destination, I'd have some hot cocoa, filled with marshmallows - the thing I love about imaginary holidays is that the calories are imaginary too...

לחופשה בתוך ספר הג׳ונגל אזדקק לחולצת חאקי, סנדלים, מצלמה מצוינת, טבעת, עגילים וצמיד במוטיבים טרופיים במיוחד.
Doesn't really matter which type or where it's located on the map, just as long as it has a magical tree house. If at all possible, I'd like to have it just like the one in the picture. My ultimate jungle book vacation will need a khaki shirt, a pair of sandals, a great camera and tropical inspired ring, earrings and bracelet.
