Meet the staff

כמעט כל יום עוברת לי בראש המחשבה עד כמה אני ברת מזל על שקיבלתי את ההזדמנות לעסוק במה שאני אוהבת באמת.
אבל כשהמחשבה הזאת חולפת לי בראש, תמיד מצטרפת אליה מחשבה נוספת והיא - שלא יכלתי לעשות את זה לבד. 
אחת הסיבות שהעסק שלי הפך למה שהוא, הוא האנשים המדהימים שלוקחים בו חלק ואחראים לחלוטין לכל הצלחה. בזכות האנשים האלה, הצלחתי לא רק להגשים חלום, אלא גם להצליח לנהל אורח חיים נורמלי יחסית, שלא כולל רק עבודה.. אני שמחה על כך שמקום העבודה שלי הוא לא רק מקום עבודה, אלא מקום שנעים לבוא אליו ולהיות בו, מקום שמרגיש קצת כמו עוד בית וכמו עוד משפחה.

Almost every day I find my self thinking how lucky I am to be able to do what I love, for a living. And every time this thought pops into my head, it's usually accompanied by another thought - that I could have never done it on my own. 

One of the reasons my business has become what it is today is the amazing group of people that are a part of it, and which are responsible for every success. Thanks to these people, I have been able to not only fulfill a dream, but to be able to live a normal life, which does not involve only work... I am grateful for the fact that my workplace is a fun place to come to every morning, a place which feels a little bit like a second home.

This post is dedicated to my studio staff. It's time you got to know them!

מנהל אדמיניסטרטיבי

אלון טוען שהוא סובל ממידה מסוימת של OCD, אבל כנראה שזו בדיוק המידה הנחוצה כדי להפוך אותו למי שתמיד יודע כל פרט ממה שקורה בסטודיו.

הוא למד תואר משולב באמנויות באוניברסיטת ת"א ואפילו בילה סמסטר אחד בונציה. אלון הוא ללא ספק המתלבש הטוב ביותר בסטודיו ואפילו מתחזק אוסף נעליים מפואר שמאפשר לו להגיע כל יום עם זוג אחר לעבודה (בהנחה שהכלב החדש שלו, לוק, לא לעס אותו).

Alon Konforti
Administrative Director

Alon claims to have a certain level of OCD, but it seems to be the exact level that allows him to be on top of every little detail that takes place in our studio.

Alon graduated from Tel Aviv Univ. with a combined degree in Arts  and even studied one semester in Venice. Alon is by far the best dresser in the studio and maintains a magnificent shoe collection, which allows him to show up to work every day with a different pair 
(assuming his new dog, Luke, had not chewed them up).

רוני לוי

מנהלת שיווק

לפני שהיא התחילה לעבוד בסטודיו, רוני הספיקה להתחיל ללמוד שלושה תארים, בארכיטקטורה, עיצוב פנים ולבסוף סיימה ללמוד תואר משולב באמנויות בת"א, יחד עם אלון. אחד מהם היה ברומא, מה שאומר שהיא יודעת לקשקש באיטלקית. בנוסף היא הספיקה לעבוד בכמה גלריות נחשבות בת"א. 

רוני חוזרת אלינו בקרוב מחופשת לידה, אחרי שילדה את אלון (לא, הוא לא נקרא על שם אלון קונפורטי).

היא אוהבת עיצוב, אופנה ואוכל טוב ואף פעם לא תגיד לא לחופשה קצרה בברצלונה.

Roni Levi 

Marketing Director

Prior to working in the studio, Roni managed to begin her studies towards 3 degrees in Architecture, Interior Design and finally graduated from Tel Aviv Univ. with a combined degree in Arts, along with Alon. She spent time in Rome, which means she is able to chat in Italian. She also worked at a few art galleries in Tel Aviv.

Roni is soon returning to work from her maternity leave, after giving birth to baby Alon (no, he is not named after Alon Konforti)...

Roni loves design, fashion and good food and will never say no to a short vacation in Barcelona.

מחליפה את רוני, מנהלת השיווק

סיוון הצטרפה אלינו לפני כמה חודשים כשרוני יצאה לחופשת לידה ונכנסה די בקלות לנעליים הגדולות שהושארו לה.

סיוון גדלה במצפה עמוקה שבצפון הרחוק אבל כשתראו אותה יהיה קשה לנחש את זה עליה.. היא מתחתנת בקיץ הקרוב עם גיא, ומבחינת תכשיטים לחתונה, אתם יכולים להניח שהיא כבר מסודרת.

היא אוהבת לאכול פסטה עם קטשופ, אבל לעולם לא תיגע באבוקדו ומפחדת פחד מוות ממחטים.

Sivan Teplitz
Replacing Roni, Marketing Director

Sivan joined us a few months ago when Roni left for her maternity leave, and pretty easily slid into the big shoes that Roni left her.

Sivan grew up in a small village in the far northern part of Israel but you would never guess that when you meet her… She will marry Guy in the summer and as to jewelry for the wedding – you can assume she is taken care of…

Sivan likes to eat pasta with ketchup but will never touch an avocado and is horrified by needles.

מנהלת שיווק ומכירות לחו"ל

ענת, לפני כל שאר הדברים, היא אחותי.

היא גרה בקיבוץ גבעת חיים איחוד ואמא לשלושה ילדים מהממים וכלבה בשם אמה. במקור, ענת היא עובדת סוציאלית ועבדה במשך תקופה ארוכה במועצה לשלום הילד. היא שונאת לונה פארקים (כי היא לא מסוגלת לעלות על שום דבר שזז קצת מעל הרצפה) ולאחרונה התחדשה בקעקוע הראשון בחייה, בצורת ענף דובדבן פורח.

Anat Ofir
Director of International Sales and Marketing

 First and foremost, Anat is my sister. She lives in a Kibbutz in the center of the country and has 3 awesome kids and a dog named Emma. Anat is a certified Social Worker and worked for bunch of years in The National Council for the Child.

Anat hates amusement parks (because she can't stand any of the rides that are anything beyond ground level) and lately got her first tattoo in the shape of a cherry tree branch in blossom.

מנהלת הסטודיו

עדי אחראית על כל פריט וכל הזמנה שמיוצרת בסטודיו שלנו מה שאומר שהיא עסוקה תמיד בחמישה דברים במקביל  - מה שמעיד על כך שנשים באמת טובות במולטי טסקינג.

היא למדה תואר בעיצוב תעשייתי בבצלאל, במהלכו  בילתה סמסטר בארגנטינה (שם הכרנו). היא גרה בת"א עם בעלה וחתולה בשם טונה, שמתחזקת תדמית של דרמה קווין רצינית.

Director of Manufacturing

Adi is in charge of all the items and orders that are manufactured in our studio, which means that she is always doing at least 5 things at once, what indicates that women are really good at multi tasking.

Adi graduated from Betzalel School in the Hebrew Univ. with a degree in Industrial Design, through which she spent one semester in Argentina (where I met her). She lives in Tel Aviv with her husband and cat named Tuna, who maintains a reputation of a serious drama queen.

מנהלת החנויות

שימרית למדה צילום בבצלאל ואוהבת במיוחד לצלם הפקות אופנה, לא פעם גם לפריטים שלנו. שלוש פעמים בשבוע היא מגיעה לסטודיו עם בגד ים ומגבת רטובים, אחרי שהשכימה קום והתחרתה בשחיה עם הזקנים בבריכת גורדון.

כשהיא רואה בנות ברחוב עם תכשיטים שלנו היא תמיד נועצת בהן עיניים ומחמיאה להן, מה שגורם להן לפעמים לחשוש שהיא מנסה להתחיל איתן...

שימרית נשואה לעודד, שהוא שף, מה שמאפשר לה לאכול מעולה בלי להצטרך לדעת להכין שום דבר מעבר לסלט.

 Shimrit Kalish
Stores Manager

Shimrit studied photography at Betzalel School in the Hebrew Univ. and loves to shoot fashion productions, including some of our items. Three times a week she arrives in the studio with a wet towel and a bathing suit, after an early wakeup and an easy competition with the old guys who swim at the Gordon Pool.

When she sees girls in the street wearing our jewelry, she stares at them and compliments them, which sometimes makes them feel as if she's hitting on them…

Shimrit is married to Oded, who is a Chef, which means she can eat great food without having to know how 

to make anything more complicated than a salad.

אני אורן

אחראית ייצור בסטודיו

אני עבדה באין ספור עבודות שונות ומשונות לפני שהצטרפה אלינו בסטודיו. אם אתם אוהבים את עיצוב חלונות הראווה שלנו, תדעו שאני היא האחראית לכך.

גם לאני יש שף פרטי – אבא שלה. אנחנו זוכים להתפנק מידי פעם בעוגת גבינה מעשה ידיו שמגיעה לסטודיו.

המשפחה של אני מגיעה מברזיל ויש לה אין ספור סיפורים על המדינה המדהימה הזו. אנחנו מצידנו, אוכלים את הלב.

Anny Oren
In charge of manufacturing in the studio

Anny has worked in numerous jobs before she joined our studio. If you are a fan of our display windows, you should know that Anny is responsible for them. 

Anny also has a private chef – her dad. Every once in a while she spoils us with a fabulous cheesecake that she brings to the studio.

Anny's family is from Brazil and she has a million stories to tell about that amazing country. We are left to eat our heart out….

פלורנסיה אלאלוף

עובדת בסטודיו, גרפיקאית

(או פלור בקיצור) עלתה לישראל לפני עשר שנים מארגנטינה, אבל מהריש המתגלגלת שלה אנחנו נהנים עד היום. היא חולה על ריבת חלב, במיוחד בגלידה שיש רק בארגנטינה ופעם אפילו דאגה שסבתא שלה תביא לה כזו במטוס, ארוזה בקרח יבש... לא קשה להבין כמה היא מאוהבת בבעלה כשכל שיחת טלפון שלהם מסיימת במילים: Te amo! Un Besso"" (אוהבת אותך! נשיקה). הם תמיד חלמו על כלב אבל כשאימצו את החתול רוקי שנמצא כגור ברחוב גילו שהם בכלל אנשי חתולים.

היא סיימה לימודי תקשורת חזותית במנשר ואחראית על חלק גדול העבודות הגרפיקה בסטודיו שלנו.

Florencia Alaluf
Graphic Designer and Studio Assistant

Florencia (or Flor in short) immigrated to Israel from Argentina 10 years ago, but we are still enjoying her rolling Spanish "rrr". She loves Dulce De Leche, especially the kind that can only be found in Argentinian ice cream, and even once asked her grandma,  who flew over for a visit, to bring her some, packed in dry ice.

It's pretty easy to see how in love she is with her hubby, when every phone conversation ends with the words:  "Te amo! Un Besso" (I love you, kiss…). They have always dreamed of having a dog but after they adopted a stray kitten named Rocky, they realized that they were actually cat-people.

עובדת בסטודיו מוכרת בחנות

מורן מגיעה במקור ממצפה הושעיה בצפון ודואגת לנסוע לבקר את המשפחה שלה בתכיפות, לסופי שבוע ארוכים. כשתראו את מורן, בחורה קטנה ורזה, לא תנחשו שיש לה תיאבון בריא במיוחד, מה שמעצבן את כולנו בכל ארוחת צהריים. למרות שאלון מנסה עליה כל מיני בדיחות שקשורות בהיותה בלונדינית, מורן מקפידה לא לצאת פראיירית ולא נשארת חייבת.

מורן מסיימת בימים אלה תואר בתקשורת באוניברסיטה הפתוחה.

Moran Boimflak
Sales Associate and Studio Assistant

Like Sivan, Moran is also originally from a small place in the north of Israel (though not the same one). She makes sure to visit her family quite often, for long weekends. When you see Moran, a slim girl, you wouldn't guess that she has a very healthy appetite, a fact that makes us all jealous during lunches. Even though Alon tries to annoy her with all kinds of Blond Girl jokes, Moran shows him that she is no wimp and fights back.

Moran is now in the final stages of her degree in Communications in the Open University.

מוכרת בחנות

ליאור היא תלמידת שנה ד' בעיצוב תעשייתי בחולון, מה שאומר שאת הזמן שבו היא לא נמצאת בחנות היא מעבירה בעבודה על פרויקט הגמר שלה. היא גרה בת"א עם החבר שלה, שגם הוא סטודנט לעיצוב, מסוגלת להתרגש עד דמעות מאוכל וחולמת לפתוח ג'רמן בייקרי.

Lior is in her 4^th and last year of Industrial Design studies at the Holon Institute of Technology, which means that when she is not in the store she is working on her final project. She lives in Tel Aviv with her boyfriend, 

who also studies design, gets excited to tears by food and dreams of opening a German bakery.

My thing for glasses

תמיד רציתי משקפיים. מיוחדים כאלה, עם מסגרת עבה ושונה. כאלה שמוסיפים עוד פן מתוחכם ומעניין להופעה ואולי גם משדרים: "אני חכם. אני מעניין. אני אחר". 

זו אובססיה ידועה שלי. כל חברי הממושקפים חושבים שאני משוגעת ומקפידים להבהיר לי: "אם היית צריכה משקפיים באמת אין שום סיכוי שעדיין היית רוצה אותם". 

אבל מה לעשות, אני רוצה. את רוב שנות נעורי ביליתי בבדיקות עיניים דו שנתיות ובנסיונות לשכנע את האופטומטריסט ש"אולי בכל זאת אני צריכה". אבל אני לא. אפילו זכורה לי אפיזודה שבה בזבזתי את מיטב כספי המלצרות שלי על מסגרת יקרה להחריד ועדשה ללא מספר, עד שהבנתי שזה די מטופש וויתרתי.

היום אני כבר לא טורחת להתעסק בזה, אבל עדיין אוהבת מאוד משקפיים וקצת מקנאה בסתר במי ששפר עליו גורלו להזדקק להם.

I've always wanted to wear glasses. A pair with lots of character, with a thick big frame that adds a sophisticated feel to your look and maybe speaks out: "I'm smart. I'm interesting. I'm different".

It's a known obsession of mine. All of my four-eyed friends think I'm crazy and keep on telling me: "if you'd really need glasses there is no way you would actually want them". 

Well, I do. I used to spend most of my teen years getting my sight checked twice a year and trying to convince the optometrist that "maybe I do need them". But I don't. I even remember that at one point I spent most of my tips money from waiting tables on a ridiculously expensive frame with a fake lens, until I realized it was stupid and gave up on the idea. 

These days I don't bother about it anymore, but I still love glasses and secretly envy those who are lucky enough to need them.

מי שעוררה בי לראשונה את החשק להרכיב משקפיים היתה הזמרת ליסה לואב (מי ששרה את הלהיט "You Say" מתוך פסקול הסרט "Reality bites"). סימן ההיכר שלה הוא המשקפיים בעלי המסגרת החתולית והמיוחדת. אהבתי אותה בתור נערה ורציתי משקפיים בדיוק כמו שלה. 

The person who first created my lust for glasses was the singer Lisa Loeb. I loved her music and adored her iconic cat-eye glasses.

כדי לפצות את עצמי על המחסור במשקפיים, עיצבתי את שרשרת המשקפיים הזו. אם אין לי זוג על העיניים, לפחות אחד על הצוואר. תודו שזו פשרה הולמת.

In order to compensate myself for the lack of glasses, I designed this necklace. If I'm not wearing a pair on my eyes, at least I'll wear one on my neck.

My new Vespa

השבוע החלפתי את קטנוע המיו התכלכל שלי בוספה חדשה.
לרגל המאורע, אני מקדישה את הפוסט הבא לדבר הכי מעוצב על שני גלגלים שנראה במחוזותינו.
זה המיו המקסים שלי ומתחתיו הוספה החדשה שלי, בצבע כחול כהה אלגנטי.

This week I exchanged my light blue Mio scooter for a brand new Vespa. To celebrate this event, I am  dedicating this post to the most design oriented 2 wheel vehicle that ever existed.

This is my lovely Mio and following is my new Vespa.

קטנועי וספה החלו להיות מיוצרים בשנת 1946 ע"י חברת פיאג'ו האיטלקית. משמעות השם באיטלקית הוא "צרעה".

Vespa scooters are manufactured by the Italian company Piaggio since 1946. The meaning of the name is "wasp" in Italian.

מטרתו של החלק הקדמי הרחב של הוספה היא להגן על הרוכב בפני רוח, אבק ובוץ.

The purpose of the broad front part of the Vespa is to protect the rider from wind, dust and mud.

המאורע שהקפיץ את המכירות והפך את הוספה ללהיט היה יציאתו של הסרט "חופשה ברומא" בשנת 1953, קומדיה רומנטית בה גרגורי פק מרכיב את אודרי הפבורן על קטנוע הוספה שלו ברחבי העיר. 

The event which increased the sales and made the Vespa a hit was the debut of the 1953 movie "Holiday in Rome" in which Gregory Peck took Audrey Hepburn for a ride on his Vespa scooter around the city.

בשנות השישים, קטנועי הוספה, שסימלו חופש ויצירתיות חוו עוד קפיצה בפופולריות ובמכירות.

In the 60's, the Vespa scooters, which symbolized freedom and creativity, experienced another popularity boost which resulted in more sales.

בעיר פיזה שבאיטליה קיים מוזיאון של חברת פיאג'ו המציג ברובו דגמי וספה מקוריים מתקופות שונות ואפילו קטנוע אחד שעוצב ע"י סלוודור דאלי.

In the city of Piza, Italy there is a museum dedicated to the Piaggio company and features many Vespa scooters from different eras, including one which was designed by Salvador Dali.

It's been told that the front part of the Vespa seat is risen so that when a girl rides it with a mini skirt, it will cover what doesn't need to be shown...

A collection is born - how an idea converts into jewelry

כבר מזה זמן אני רוצה לשתף אתכם בתהליך העבודה שלי על קולקציה חדשה - איך נראים השלבים שבדרך ואיך רעיון שמתחיל בראש שלי מתגלגל והופך לתכשיט.

סדרת הפורמייקה שהוצאתי בקולקציית הקיץ האחרונה מבטאת בצורה הטובה ביותר את התהליך הזה ולכן בחרתי להדגים לכם אותו בעזרתה.

It's been a while that I have been meaning to let you in on the process of my work on a new collection, to describe how the different stages in the long road and to explain how an idea that grows in my head evolves and turns into a piece of jewelry.

The Formica series that I created in my latest summer collection best portrays this process and so I decided to use it to demonstrate my ideas.

שלב 1 – הרעיון

במקרה הזה, הרעיון לשילוב פורמייקה בתכשיטים נולד אצלי לפני כשלוש שנים, כאשר עבדתי על פרוייקט הגמר שלי במסגרת התואר בעיצוב תעשייתי. במסגרת הפרוייקט, עיצבתי תכשיטים ששואבים השראה מעולם הריהוט. מבין שתי הסדרות שעיצבתי, אחת נקראה "אחסון" והכילה תכשיטים מכסף בשילוב פורניר ופורמייקה, שהמיוחד בהן הוא שהם מאחסנים את עצמם. מה זה אומר? צפו בסרטון הבא:

Stage 1 – the idea

In this specific case, the idea to incorporate Formica in my jewelry developed in my mind about 3 years ago, when as a student I was working on my final project for my degree in Industrial Design. For this project I designed jewelry that was inspired from the world of furniture. One of the 2 series I designed was named "Storage" and included silver jewelry with a combination of veneer and formica, that were unique in the sense that they store themselves. What does this mean? Take a look at the following video:

כבר אז הוקסמתי מתכונותיה של הפורמייקה (חומר שמשמש בעיקר לחיפוי רהיטים ומטבחים ועשוי משכבות נייר ופורניר מודבקות בלחץ באמצעות שרפים) והחלטתי שמתישהו אוציא סדרה מסחרית שעושה בה שימוש.

At that early stage I already fell in love with the qualities of Formica (a material that is mainly used to cover surfaces of furniture and kitchens and is made of thin layers of veneer and paper that are strongly pressured together using resins), and I then decided that at some point in time I will launch a commercial series that will incorporate Formica.

שלב 2 - השראה

כשניגשתי לעצב את הסדרה החדשה, רציתי להשאיר את נושא האחסון מאחור, אבל עדיין לקשור אותה למקור שלה - עולם הרהיטים, ובאופן מדוייק יותר : רהיטים מתקופת אמצע המאה ה-20, אז היתה הפורמייקה פופולרית במיוחד. בתמונה הראשונה אתם יכולים לראות לוח השראה שהכנתי לעצמי ובתמונה השניה, רהיט שלי, שרפרף שקיבלתי במתנה מחברה (כן, אם אתם עוקבים, זה כבר הרהיט השני שקיבלתי במתנה לאחרונה) שאהוב עלי במיוחד בגלל הצבע שלו והצורה המעוגלת והא-סימטרית שלו. מהרהיטים לקחתי את הפינות העגולות, הצורות הגיאומטריות, שילוב החומרים והצבעוניות הרכה והרטרואית.

Stage 2 – Inspiration

When I came to design the new collection, I wanted to leave the storage idea behind, but to keep the connection to its origin – the world of furniture, and even more specifically – furniture from the mid - 20^th century, when Formica was very popular.

In the 1^st image you can see an "inspiration board" that I created for myself and in the 2^nd image is a stool that I got as a present from a friend (yes, if you are following, this is already the 2^nd piece of furniture that I have received as a present lately), which I adore especially because of its color and it’s rounded and a-symmetrical shape. From the furniture I took the ideas for round corners, geometrical shapes, combination of materials and the soft retro palette of colors.

אחרי שיש לי גם רעיון וגם מקור השראה מגובש, אני מעבירה את הרעיונות מהראש לנייר ומנסה לשרטט כל דבר אפשרי. אם כיוון מסויים מעניין אותי אני ממשיכה לפתח אותו. כשיש מספיק רעיונות על הנייר, אני בוחרת את הטובים ביותר מביניהם, שעוברים לשלב הבא.

Stage 3 – Initial sketches

Once I feel that I have an idea and also a crystallized source of inspiration, I transfer the ideas from my head to paper and try to sketch many options. If I find that one of the sketches interests me, I keep developing it. When there are enough ideas on the paper, I choose the best ones, which will move into the next stage.  

שלב 4 - על המחשב

בשלב הבא, אני משרטטת את התכשיטים במחשב. אני עובדת בקנה מידה אמיתי ולוקחת בחשבון גם את עובי השראראות, חלקי החיבור והפרופורציות ביחס לגוף. השרטוטים מתורגמים לקבצים ממוחשבים שעוברים מאוחר יותר לייצור החלקים העצמם.

Stage 4 - On the computer

I then sketch the jewelry on the computer. I work using the original scale of the items and also take in consideration the width of the chains, the connecting links and the proportions against the body. The sketches are translated to electronic files, which are later used for the manufacture of the elements themselves.

שלב 5  - ייצור החלקים

הקבצים הממוחשבים שייצרתי משמשים לחיתוך החלקים בטכנולוגיות שונות, בהתאם לחומר. חלקי הפורמייקה מנוקים ומשוייפים לאחר החיתוך ואילו חלקי המתכת, שנחתכים בשיטה שונה, מצופים בכסף או בזהב.

Stage 5 – Manufacturing the parts

The electronic files I created are used for cutting the elements using different technologies, according to the material. After the cutting process the Formica pieces are cleaned and polished and the metal parts, which are cut using a different method,  are then plated in gold or in silver.

שלב 6 - הרכבה

כאשר החלקים השונים מוכנים, ניתן להרכיב את התכשיט עצמו. זה השלב המספק ביותר, בו לראשונה ניתן לראות איך כמו בפאזל, החתיכות מתחברות ויוצרות משהו שלם.

Stage 6 – Assembly

When the parts are ready, it is time to put the piece of jewelry together. This is the most gratifying stage, in which you can see for the first time how, just like in a puzzle, the pieces connect and create a complete picture.

שלב 7 - צילום הקטלוג

שלב אחרון לפני יציאת הקולקציה הוא שלב צילומי הקטלוג. לצילומים קודמת בדרך כלל תקופה לא קצרה שבמהלכה מגבשים קונספט, בוחרים אנשי מקצוע מתאימים ואת הדוגמנית המושלמת ומתכננים איך הכל אמור להיראות. לצילומי הקולקציה הזו בחרתי באלינור זינו היפיפיה. אלינור, שהגיעה לישראל מנורבגיה, במראה השזוף והמיוחד שלה התאימה לי מאוד לאוירה הקייצית, הפסטלית והמעודנת שרציתי להעביר בקטלוג. בעזרת הצלם אסף עיני, הסטייליסטית שירן מניה, ענבל מסאס (איפור) ופדור וישניאקוב (שיער) יצא קטלוג מקסים, שהצליח לבטא את האופי המיוחד של הקולקציה.

Stage 7 – Shooting the catalog

This is the last stage before the collection is launched. Prior to the shooting, my staff and I go through an intensive period in which we come up with the concept, select the right professionals and the perfect model, and plan what it's all going to look like. For the shooting of this collection I chose the beautiful Elinor Zino. Elinor, which came to Israel from Norway, with her unique tanned look, was a perfect fit for the summery, delicate pastel atmosphere that I wanted to portray in this catalog. With the help of Assaf Eini the photographer, Shiran Mania the stylist, Inbal Massas (makeup) and Fedor Vishnyakov (hair) – the catalog came out just fabulous and brought out 

.the unique characteristics of the collection.   

שלב 8 - יש קולקציה חדשה

אחרי כל השלבים בדרך, התכשיט גמור, מצולם ומוכן לצאת לחנות. עבורי זה המבחן הגדול ביותר - האם תאהבו את הפריטים ותרצו לקנות אותם? במקרה של סדרת הפורמייקה, נראה שאהבתם אותם מאוד... כמעט כל פריט שיוצא לחנות נמכר תוך זמן קצר ואנחנו לא מפסיקים לייצר חדשים. זה הסיפוק הכי גדול עבורי ומה שגורם לי לרצות לחדש וליצור עוד.

Stage 8 – Here comes a new collection

After all these stages, the piece of jewelry is completed, photographed and ready to go to the shop. For me this is the biggest challenge – will you like the jewelry and want to buy them? In the case of the Formica series, looks like you like them a lot….almost every formica item that is moved to the shop will sell very quickly and my studio is working around the clock to manufacture more. This is my biggest satisfaction and it is the fuel that energizes my drive to create many more new items.
